Servo manipulator is composed of four parts as a whole; arm, pull, fixture, and base. The fixture is an important part of the manipulator. Different modules can be selected and installed according to actual needs. There are two types of suction cups and clamp sets. The suction cup is a specific fixture used to absorb products. It is fixed on a special board and installed at the end of the arm. After extending, the suction cup is above the injection molded product, the arm goes down and the suction cup is opened to complete the pick-up. When the work needs to grip waste, it can be replaced with a clamp set. The same working method can realize the clamping of waste in the production process.

Arm


The main parts of the Servo manipulator arm are the arm structure beam, linear guide, slider, positioning stop, and cylinder fixing plate. The arm structure beam is made of aluminum alloy material. Mechanical properties of lead alloy materials: tensile strength 124MPa, yield strength 55.2MPa, elongation > 25%. The aluminum alloy material is light and durable, which reduces the weight of the side picker arm, reduces the inertia of the arm, makes the acceleration and deceleration more stable during the movement, and reduces vibration. The linear guide rail is fixed on the arm structure beam using screws. It is used in conjunction with the slider to realize the telescopic movement of the arm through the relative movement between the obfuscating block and the guide rail. Linear guides have the advantages of high position accuracy, strong rigidity, and easy installation. The sliding friction between the guide rail and the slider is small, and the driving force required for the relative motion is relatively small. The cylinder drive can meet the requirements, and the Servo manipulator is simple in structure and low in development cost. The positioning block is used to adjust the telescopic stroke of the arm, the maximum stroke is 600mm, and the length of the stroke can be adjusted according to the actual user’s needs.


The cylinder fixing plate is mainly used to fix the end of the piston rod of the telescopic cylinder. An anti-falling cylinder mounting plate is installed on the cylinder fixing plate, which is used to install the anti-falling cylinder to prevent the Servo manipulator from being damaged by extending its arms under no air pressure. The proximity switch is also installed on the anti-falling cylinder mounting plate to collect the upper signal of the arm. In addition, the jigging module is also fixed on the cylinder fixing plate.



Pull out


The pulling and pulling off of the Servo manipulator are mainly used as a guiding device, which can prevent the arm from rotating along the central axis of the telescopic direction. It not only increases the bearing capacity but also improves the accuracy. The pulling structure of the Servo manipulator mainly includes the pulling beam, the guide rod, the linear bearing, the positioning block, the upper and lower seats, and the rotating frame overall weight.


The upper and lower seats are made of malleable cast iron, which has uniform structure and properties, wear resistance, and good plasticity and initial properties. It is generally used to manufacture parts with complex shapes and can withstand strong dynamic loads. The linear bearing is fixed with the upper and lower seats, and the arm moves up and down through the relative movement between the guide rod and the linear bearing. The guide rod has high brightness and smoothness, good wear resistance, and high contact fatigue performance. The positioning block can be used to adjust the up and down stroke of the arm, and the adjustment range is between 0-200mm. The length of the stroke can be adjusted according to actual user needs.


The rotating frame and the reducer are fixed together by a circular spacer, and the reducer is driven by a servo motor to drive the rotating frame to rotate. Realize the screw-in and screw-out actions of the entire Servo manipulator.
